One of my illustrations in the amazing online arts Magazine the Atomy. If you love writing, music, photography and illustration have a peek:)
“First Love”
by Darcy AllanIn her words:
“I remember my first love being a little redheaded boy named Christopher. We were in kindergarten together and he was forever running around and was such a “boy.” I invited him to my birthday party and he gave me a package of neon stretchy elastics. They were so popular. But then the year ended and I think he moved.
Sometimes first loves don’t have to be this earth shattering, overly emotional experience. After Christopher there were a slew of other little boys I gave my heart out to, but the first one always stays in your heart. They may be gone, but they’re never forgotten.”

“She didn’t see herself as crazy, but more as a part of the family.”
One time I did this illustration, but then I hated it, so I painted over the whole thing. I’m hoping I can reuse the canvas and that it doesn’t haunt it for future projects. A digital version remains.
Les Trois Soeurs. I have sisters and we’re all pretty weird. although this isn’t us…three sisters are fun to have
A MARVELOUS illustration of ME by the talented Adam Winnick. He’s super sweet, a tremendous friend and he draws pretty awesome stuff. This makes me so happy:)
Back in the summer I was hanging out with my friend Darcy and loved her skirt which had a universe print on it. I told her I’d draw her and the skirt, and I have finally finished it. Do you like cats, bows, and cotton candy? Then start following her here: http://darcyallan.tumblr.com/
